The following information is about Restitution.
Restitution Defined
-A disposition requiring a defendant to pay damages to a victim. The law prohibits making restitution a condition of receiving probation. Poor families cannot be deprived of probation simply because they are too poor to afford restitution. Some states do not allow families to pay restitution.

Two plead guilty to drug charges

CANTON Robbing a drive-through beverage store in Canton Township twice for drug money landed a city man in prison for nine years Monday. Stephen F. Crimi, 22, of 1700 Gateway Blvd. SE, Apt. 1, pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated robbery with firearm specifications.
Deliberation to begin on former tribal governor
